Men’s Pain ~Suppress,Repress or Express?

So many of my brothers struggle with expressing them selves in an honest manner. Many of their words are camouflaged with false bravado or spoken with masked facial expressions which often makes it hard to get to the root of their problems. For fear of being branded weak or soft a lot of men act out a role which is not truly their real selves and they then end up becoming unhappy or unwell. Expressing our true feelings is part of being a man. It is not always easy to do in a world where judgment is made upon us. Our masculinity and strengths are not defined by others. They are defined by our willingness to speak and live our truth without fear of condemnation, to stand up to injustice and show compassion to others and to express our true feelings.
