Contextualization | World History Project

While the word contextualization is something you probably can’t say five times fast, it is a key skill to help us better understand the world around us. Even more importantly, it helps students avoid presentism—the act of seeing the past through the lens of today. In the WHP course, we present students with our Contextualization Tool, which will help them develop this skill and build their historical empathy.
