How to Make a Primitive Water Filter from Natural Resources (episode s2.03)

Clean water is crucial for survival. Drinking wild water without filtration and heat treatment can be risky and even deadly. I have regularly consumed wild water from streams and springs and often even without any treatment. Fortunately I have not become sick from this practice. To prevent illness I recommend that clean water first be boiled. To make the water clean I made a clay vessel to hold charcoal, sand and gravel to filter out debris, organic matter, dirt and bugs as the water flows through by gravitational force. This water filter can conveniently be hung inside my hut and a pot placed underneath to capture the filtered water.

Enjoy the ASMR sounds and beautiful cinematic imagery of this video as I put my hands to work to make a water filter from the earth. Thanks for watching!
